Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 建築與都市設計研究所 === 99 === Taiwan is an earthquake-prone country. The traditional earthquake-resistant structures used in the past can achieve the basic goal to protect personal safety, but they may not be able to fully achieve the goal of protecting property and the buildings. According to the importance of the building and the need for security, buildings must have high level of seismic features to ensure that in addition to personal security, property and functions of a building must be maintained in the face of a major earthquake. In view of the requirements, it has become an increasingly popular trend to design the features of earthquake isolation into new domestic constructions. Nevertheless, the relevant interfaces in the construction process, such as the interface between the earthquake isolator and the main architecture, the configuration of water and electricity pipelines, the integration of joints and their predetermined space for expansion, have not yet been defined with specific standards or guidelines. The lack of those regulations or references may lead to poor quality and waste of money in the related earthquake isolation constructions.
This study mainly focuses on “Interface Integration of Earthquake Isolation Structure with Main Architecture” under operative method of “heuristic structure.” Through issues and case exploration related to earthquake isolation buildings, earthquake isolation designated, construction interface and construction procedures, the author concludes suitable construction planning principles and construction procedures for earthquake isolation structure and main architecture interface integration and discusses the applicability with actual cases as the reference and suggestions for future earthquake isolation structure and main architecture interface integration construction process planning.
