The results show that exports of China and Taiwan man-made fibers with a significant negative correlation, indicating China is Taiwan's major threat. The results show that the exports of U.S. and Taiwan man-made fibers existed significantly positive correlation. The price of crude oil and export of Taiwan man-made fibers existed with a significant negative correlation , indicating the costs of man-made fiber in Taiwan will be increased by the price increase of international crude oil . Real effective exchange rate against US dollars rate existed with a significant negative correlation. Average salary of Taiwan textile industry and export of Taiwan man-made fiber exports existed a significant negative correlation. The average salary of Taiwan textile industry labor is USD7.89 per hour in 2008. In China, since RMB appreciation against USD and the new Labour Contract Law, the labor cost per hour in the coast cities and inland cities, respectively USD1.88, USD1.44 . The quantity of employee of Taiwan textile industry has no significantly related to Taiwan man-made fibers’s exports. In short word, China and other emerging countries, the rise in crude oil prices, wages and other factors are the difficulties that Taiwan man-made fiber exports are currently facing. How Taiwan man-made fiber manufacturers overcome the difficulties ? The suggests are: (1) Make good use of complementary between cross-strait textile industry. As opposed to China, Taiwan's soft power is unique, Taiwan government and enterprises should think the way to keep the talent, to prevent poaching from China, in order to maintain the competitiveness.(2) To establish the brand and the expansion of overseas production lines. (3) Strategic alliances and university- industry cooperation.(4) Environmental friendly fibers, functional fibers and technical fibers are the key factors for forever management. With environmental consciousness, many countries have set green regulations, international brands and retailers effect green purchases, to drive the global green trade wave, declared the era of the green economy, "Green Competitiveness " has become key indicators to be able to win the fierce competition . With functional textiles certificate issued by Taiwan Textile Federation + Made in Taiwan (MIT) smiling mark certificate, will be able to enhance the added value of products to create a golden 10 years.
