Through literature reviews and expert interviews, five attributes, including type of room, health care, adjuvant therapy, food service and monthly fees, were identified, and were used for developing the research questionnaire.140 questionnaires were sent and 123 valid samples were obtained. Conjoint analysis was conducted to look for the preferred combination of attributes. It was found that the most preferred combination of dementia care attributes is: "private room, weekly checkup and assessment, adjuvant therapy according to the various degrees of dementia, food service design by nutritionist, monthly fees below 30,000 N.T.D. " This study also made use of cluster analysis for market segmentation, and three segments, including "economical/medical care ", "medical care-oriented", and " economy-oriented ", were also identified.
