A Study of Professional baseball spectators'' Participation Motivation and Satisfaction.： Chengching Lake Baseball Stadium as an example.

碩士 === 大仁科技大學 === 休閒健康管理研究所 === 99 === This study is to find out the influencing relationship of participating motivation and satisfaction of Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) spectators in Kaohsiung Cheng Chin Lake baseball field. The sample selection was convenient from the audience of Kaohsiung baseball field to participate this survey during the 20th CPBL regular season. Total questionnaires of 600 were sent out and retrieved 530. After eliminating the incomplete one, there were 516 valid questionnaires with 86% of recovery rate. Data was processed with SPSS for Window 12.0 version. Descriptive statistics, independent T test, one way ANOVA were used to analyze the data. The conclusions were the following: 1. The majority of the subjects were male, single, age between 21 to 30, college degree, resident of Kaohsiung city, student, average personal income below NT 15,000, and mean of transportation being motorcycle. 2. The gender, area of residence, and the years of game watchers were statistical significant difference on the “curiosity and learning” factor of participating motivation. 3. The different years of game watcher showed significant difference on the “social need” aspect of participating motivation. 4. The age of different years of game watcher reach significant difference on the “experiencing and pleasure” aspect of participating motivation. 5. The marital statues and age were significant difference on the “field and schedules satisfaction” aspect of participating motivation. 6. The different mean of transportation and seasonal attendant were significant difference on the “service and quality satisfaction” aspect of participating motivation. 7. The Intensity of motive on aspects of participating motivation of this experimenter were “experiencing and pleasure”, physically and mentally health”, “curiosity and learning”, and “social need”, accordingly. The orders on aspects of Satisfaction were “physical, mind and experience”, field and schedules”, and “service and quality”, accordingly. 8. The positive relationship between participating motivation and satisfaction of the experimenters as showed on this study.
