Metal Resources Recycling Industry (MRRI) is very fashionable at this moment, and recycling of metal resources is currently the most popular topic. The relationship between partners of MRRI is conservative but close and the business model is very unique. The partnership of the industry is built on trust.
This study divided the reason affecting the development of partnership of MRRI into internal and external and investigates the trust whether or not affects their relationship value. To restore the damage partnership caused by partner interaction by relationship recovery can strengthen the trust. Through the relationship repair for the negative news from the third party to affect the relational development can improve the relationship and strengthen the trust.
This study conducts the empirical study by using questionnaires and use VisualPLS to analyze the data. The result found the effect of the relationship recovery on cognitive trust is positive and significant but on affective trust is positive but not significant, the effect of the relationship repair on both cognitive trust and affective trust is positive and significant, cognitive trust and affective trust both positive impact on direct and indirect functional of relationship value. According to the results, this research can provide practical implications in the management of MRRI and the direction to the following research in related research field.
