According to the medical science discussion, the activity of left brain is about approach emotion and the right brain is withdrawal emotion. By the asymmetry of brainwave potential, it can discover the change of emotion which the alpha wave was more obviously. Because of that, the experiment must be designed that can observe the change of the brainwave. It can more understand the problem about asymmetry and the brainwave spectrum of frequency. Now a day, people want to investigate the change of emotion. It’ must be watching the brainwave, absolutely. Besides, it needs a stimulation to change the emotion that made the experimental more complete. The brainwave is detected at pre- and post-stimulation for data comparing.
In this study, it used microcurrent for the step of stimulation. About this stimulation, it’s according to the acupoint of Chinese medicine theory that can choose a position of acupoint with a relation of emotion. The stimulation signal is designed according to Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) theory. Used this stimulation, it can record the EEG data at pre- and post-stimulation. To make the data more complete, it also can record the ECG data at the same time. After the data recording, it can find out that the situation of EEG asymmetry is happened or not. Then, according to the result of the EEG analysis it can prove that the acupoint microcurrent stimulation improve the emotion is workable.
