In this study, the SD (Sprague-Dawley) rats with spinal cord injury will be marked four joints of hindlimb and dual cameras were used for top angle and side angle snapping. The images captured by top camera were used to show the tracks of SD rat locomotion after image processing, and then to analyze the walking speed of rats. Furthermore, the images captured by side angle camera were used to track the four joints’ movement and to calculated the angles between the joints to determine the BBB score of SD rats with spinal cord injury and determined the status of recovery. In addition, the relationships between the quantitative parameters and the BBB score were indicated, and the errors caused by different shooting angle were also discussed.
