| Summary: | 碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 資訊管理系 === 99 === The Nobel Prize has the history for over one hundred years. It was well known as the supreme honor of the academia in the global. Nobel Prize is awarded to significant discovery or innovation in the human being society. Four fields were selected and analyzed in this research. They are physics, medicine, chemistry and economy. Web of Science database was also used in this study. One computer-aided bibliometric methodology and system were designed and implemented in order to find out the important milestone in academics. Both pioneer papers and persons were the target outputs in our proposed method and system. The Nobel Prize candidate list were generated and predicted by our method and system. The historical data including physics, medicine, chemistry and economy domains were used to train, improve and verify our proposed methodology in order to increase its accuracy and usefulness. We hope that this quantitative tool could extend to other fields and awards without Nobel Prize in the future.
