| Summary: | 碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 人類性學研究所 === 99 === Purpose: The targets of this research are the master''s theses of one graduate of Human Sexuality in Southern Taiwan from 2001 to 2010. The researcher tries to find the usable research methods and operational principles for sexuality research. And to have an overview on research design and cited conditions of these master theses on human sexuality. This research tries to provide a preliminary design reference for doing sexuality research.
Method: This research uses text analysis as the research methods. It take four application areas of sexuality related research topic as the base to classify contents of the research targets, and also do the further several analysis including: (1) selection of quantitative and qualitative analysis; (2) analysis of different methods used and (3) the use of statistical analysis in the quantitative research.
Result:Research themes related to intimacy relationships and love affair are more likely to deviate from the academic scope of the human sexuality research. Most quantitative researches takes questionnaire as a tool. Questionnaire accuracy and scale of problems remains to be strengthened. More qualitative research use in-depth interviews, but the focus of interview questions on sex-related should be paid more attention.
Conclusions:The researcher discovers that beginners of Human sexuality seldom use professional definitions to define human sexuality related research topics. Research about human being is more difficult than research about objects and things. The graduate school of human sexuality needs to train and help students more. Finally, also recommends adjusting future curriculum direction in order to lay the premise of background knowledge of human sexuality, to build the base for beginners towards sexual education, consultative, medical and social applications in the future.
