Description
Summary:碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 99 === The military education above secondary school has been implemented for years in Taiwan. As the time changes, the military education alters as well. The curriculum “The Military Education for Students” in high schools has been replaced by “The National Defense Education for Citizens” since 2010, based on the contents of National Defense Act. A quantitative research method was adopted in the present study. The research subjects were military instructors at high schools in Pingtung County. Two sets of questionnaires were designed and distributed to the military instructors and the students with valid return rates of 94% and 91% respectively. The military instructors were asked to self-evaluate their personality and communication competency, while the students were asked to answer questions related to the satisfaction level on received life counseling from the military instructors. The research results showed: (1) The “rank” of the military instructors is the only factor affecting “interpersonal communication competency”; (2) There is no significant relationship between “demographics” and “student satisfaction towards school life counseling”; (3) There is a significant relationship between “personality” and “the knowledge of interpersonal communication”, among which the extrovert is the most influential; (4) There is a significant relationship between “personality” and “student satisfaction towards school life counseling”, among which the extrovert is the most influential. It is concluded that the extrovert personality is the most influential factor affecting military instructor’s interpersonal communication competency and the student satisfaction towards school life counseling.
