The finance and banking keep going on developing during the participation in order to face with the challenge (the competition) and the changes (increasing the capability to raising capital as well as loaning and providing services, improving ability of management…etc). In the year of 2008, the financial crisis affected not only the Vietnam economy but also the finance and banking, this leads to recovering and stimulating the economy becoming an important concerned issue for the credit activities in the medium-long term. The credit activities in the medium-long term are a vital factor for the whole nation economy. In addition, with the development of Vietnam, the more increase the demand for capital, the more increase the credit. This is a reason why the increase of credit is always enclose with the increase of credit risk. It effects the quality of using the capital and the limitation of expanding the credit for the commercial banks. Therefore, managing the quality of credit is the first priority issue for the banks to maintain the development of credit stably. For those reasons, I chose the topic “Credit risk analysis” at agriculture bank (Transactions Phu Tho office).
