Therefore, some detective devices for an intelligent traffic system (ITS) is developed to efficient vehicle management like the microwave detection system, ultrasonic detection system, image processing system, infrared-ray detection system. The scanning ranges and misjudging errors corresponding to the measured phase angle from the above mentioned detective system were studied in this study. A new device consisted of three set of radar detectors was designed for the integration of other sensing system in order to evaluate its advantage. Also, the new device is able to replace the push bottom with the sign function for road walkers when they are crossing over the street in the safety and quick way. As well, the vehicle on the main pathway is running smoothly and does not stop by the traffic sign controlled by seconds due to little transportation on the branch road. It is a good way to avoid the car accident. The extra-function from new system has integrated a closed-circuit television (CCTV) image monitoring system, microwave vehicle-flow detection (VD) system, and an ultrasonic triggering system into the one unit, which is a helpful innovation to reduce traffic jam and air pollution as well as enhancing the efficiency of petroleum due to higher passing rate of green lights. From the experimental results, the innovative device has demonstrated that the advantage of timing control for vehicle flow on the cross road and also calculate the optimal seconds based on the average amount of transportation management.
