New electrical equipment are developed. All grid-connected equipment should be grounded to ensure an electrical safety, improving power quality, and avoiding equipment damage. The entire grounding system for a building is generally located at the bottom of the building. The grounding system provides several grounding lines for various electrical and mechanical systems. Basically, the bottom of the building is filled with ground water. The capillary phenomenon of grounding wires may cause seepage of ground water. Therefore, a good grounding system for a building must include proper waterproof devices. The seepage of ground water is a thorny problem of grounding system which may result in a high maintenance cost and endanger human safety and health. This thesis develops a new waterproof device which can take the moisture out of the grounding system and discharge the ground water through drainage holes to achieve a sealing effect.
