Description
Summary:碩士 === 聖約翰科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系碩士在職專班 === 99 === The purpose of the research is to figure out the Taipei Campus, Alethia University’s dormitory students’ participation of leisure activities’ motivations and constraints in order to recognize the diversity and mutual relations between the two elements. A random sampling of 354 valid questionnaires was conducted to examine the relation between two elements above. The following outcomes are analyzed through statistical analysis: (1) Most of dormitory students (76%) prefer to do static leisure activities; furthermore, 47.5% dormitory students do routine exercise 2 to 3 days a week. (2) The dormitory students who study in Taipei Campus of Aletheia University rank sequence through considering participation of leisure activities’ motivations which is individual mentality - environment, physical fitness, knowledge aspiration, individual mentality – personal, and the social relationship. (3) 1. In social relationship of motivation segment, dormitory students who prefer dynamic leisure activities rank it higher than those who prefer static leisure activities. 2. In physical fitness of motivation segment, dormitory students who do routine exercise 6 to 7 days per week have lower fitness rate than those who exercise 2 to 3 days or 4 to 5 days a week. (4) The dormitory students who study in Taipei Campus of Aletheia University rank sequence through considering participation of leisure activities’ constraint; the order of leisure constraints is constructed constraint (other), intrapersonal constraint (Action cognition), constructed constraint (environment), intrapersonal constraint (action capability), and interpersonal constraint. (5) 1. Female dormitory students face more constraints like constructed constraint (environment), intrapersonal constraint (Action cognition), constructed constraint (other), and intrapersonal constraint (action capability) than male dormitory students. 2. Dormitory students who prefer static leisure activities oppose higher level of resistance of constructed constraint (other) and intrapersonal constraint (activity) than dormitory students who prefer dynamic leisure activities. 3. Dormitory students who study in College of Humanities have higher intrapersonal constraint (activity) than dormitory students study in College of Mathematical Sciences. (6) 1. The lacks of facilities and equipment, professional expert’ assistance cause dormitory students’ participation of leisure activities to be obstructed; furthermore, those lacks motivate the demands ,such as knowledge pursuing, individual mentality - Environment, social relations, individual mentality - personal, and physical fitness. 2. Disagreements which come from family members, teachers, and classmates cause constraint and motivate dormitory students’ demand of acceptation in order to build a good social friendship. 3. Time, content, and lack of understanding of activities cause participate in leisure constraint and reflected on the demands of "knowledge pursuing, "individual mentality -environment, social relations, individual mentality - personal, and physical fitness. 4. The impact of weather and transportation reduce the willing of participating leisure activities and generate demands of knowledge pursuing, individual mentality - environment, social relations, individual mentality - personal, and physical fitness.
