Summary:碩士 === 聖約翰科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系碩士在職專班 === 99 === The purpose of the study was to investigate the relationship between leisure participation and emotional intelligence of third/forth graders and the fifth/sixth graders who studied at elementary schools in Tamsui area, further the difference in variables between an-only child and non-only child was examined as well. The subjects were surveyed by researcher and 718 valid questionnaires were received. The instruments are “The Leisure Participation Measurement” and “The Emotional Intelligence Inventory”. Data were analyzed by the method of descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Chi-Square test, Pearson product moment correlation and Stepwise multiple regression. The conclusion were as follow: 1.An-only child participated leisure activities more frequently than Non-only child. 2.Six types of Leisure Participation and five dimensions of Emotional Intelligence showed positive correlations. However, sports and interpersonal relationships; entertainment and five dimensions of emotional intelligence showed no significant correlations. 3.It was found that parent companionship has significant effect on the relationship between leisure participation and Emotional intelligence.
