Description
Summary:碩士 === 國防大學政治作戰學院 === 政治研究所 === 99 === The thesis was discussed about security, cooperation, internal and external factors of the region from neo-realism and neo-liberalism perspective in the northeast-east Asia. From internal factors perspective, different ideologies, diversity of politics, overlaps of sovereignty and coastline existed in this region; from external factors perspective, on the one hand that US and USSR intervened affairs of northeast-east Asia and south-east Asia for the sake of strategy interests during the Cold War, on the another hand that USSR collapses was prior to the Russia establishment after the Cold War, its influences is less for northeast Asia only but single-pole might. The States adopted “Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security between the United States and Japan” and “Korean-US Mutual Defense Agreement” to station superior military powers in the northeast Asia in order to maintain interests in the West Pacific Ocean, keep an eye on China and North Korea as imaginary enemies, hold union military exercises to ensure its hegemony. US and non-northeast states as external factors not only produced stable power, but also could bring conflicts into the region. We made a comprehensive survey of all chapters in the thesis about northeast Asia security research and predicted the future in this region, focused on the competition or cooperation for our country. We also discussed the anarchy influences for Taiwan among the competitor situation, the possibilities of establishing dialogue mechanism, and what Taiwan could be a role player.
