I employ soldiers and officers in Reserve Command as the test group by collecting 430 samples. PASW Statistics 18 and LISREL 8.7 are the tools to analyze the collected data. By using approaches, including descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, secondary confirmatory factor analysis, structural equations modeling, linear structural relation model, and structural modeling, I try to make sure the analysis precise. The purpose of the researching process is to study soldiers’ “personal traits,” “intra individual patterns of citizenship behavior,” “discipline and obedience,” “salary and benefits,” “aspiration and sentiment,” as well as “the performance of their duties.” By doing so, the connection and influence of these facts are exposed so as to further bring out the direct, indirect, and overall effects among them. The result shows soldiers’ “personal traits”, “behaviors of public interest,” “salary and benefits,” and “aspiration and sentiment” have positive influences on whether they can stand on their posts conscientiously. The soldiers’ “discipline and obedience,” however, play a negative role into the responsibility for their duty. Also, when counting “aspiration and sentiment” as an intermediary variable between soldiers’ “personal traits” and behaviors of standing on their posts, and an intermediary variable between “salary and benefits” and behaviors of standing on their posts, the study discovers the soldiers will feel satisfied with inner and outside conditions for the incentive of independent variables. With the intermediate effect of “aspiration and sentiment,” the soldiers will perform behaviors of standing on their posts conscientiously. According to the result mentioned above, furthermore, I bring up the significance of these constructs as well as directions and advices for future research for the references of related organizations and coming researchers.
