碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 觀光事業學系 === 99 === The purpose of this study is to discover the relationship of the three dimensions among teachers' personality traits, perception of organizational culture, and creative teaching in hospitality department of vocational senior high schools. The research instruments applied to the study involve documents analysis, theory-based and related researches, as well as the questionnaire aimed at "vocational senior high school teachers' personality traits, perception of organizational culture, and creative teaching." The samples adopted are from 119 vocational senior high school teachers who major in the field of hospitality. The data is conducted by such approaches as descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Person's product-moment correlation, and stepwise regression analysis. The main findings of this study can be generalized as follow: 1. The personality traits of vocational high school teachers who major in hospitality tend to be agreeableness; the perception of organizational culture has an inclination to bureaucratic culture; creative teaching style is more like originality. 2. In terms of personality traits, there seems to be a striking difference in various age, educational background and working years of vocational senior high school teachers specialized in hospitality. 3. In terms of creative teaching, there also seems to be another striking difference in age, educational background and working years of vocational senior high school teachers specialized in hospitality. 4. There seems to be no obvious difference in different organizational culture. 5. There tends to be certain positive relation between personality traits of vocational senior high school teachers majoring in hospitality and all variables in creative teaching. 6. The personality traits of vocational senior high school teachers majoring in hospitality make positive prediction to creative teaching. Findings and conclusion in this research could be used as a reference for schools,teachers and researchers to promote practice in operation and future research.
