Summary:碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 資訊碩士在職專班 === 99 === This study primarily researched how to manage a professional virtual community on Facebook by using Facebook Fan Page. Research methodology included observation and questionnaire survey. After creating a Fan Page and experiencing how it worked. Observation and questionnaire survey were used to explore the management strategies. This research was mainly conducted in two phases. In the first Phase, participant observation was used to observe the participation behavior of fans. In the second phase, as part of problems couldn’t be answered by the method of observation, online questionnaire survey was used to gather information from fans. Finally, collected the results of two phases and made recommendations for someone who intended to manage a professional virtual community on Facebook by using Facebook Fan Page. This study found that the growth model of Facebook Fan Page is: 1.Administrator post 2.Fans response to administrator’s posts 3.Find friends interact with Fan Page 4.Join Fan Page. Friends and interactions are two of the most important factors that keep fan page growing. Choose the time that most people use Facebook to post could enhance the visibility of a fan page and could increasing the interactions between fans and Fan Page and then promoted the growth of the number of fans.
