After analyzing, it proposes the suggestion to improve the teaching techniques on this grammar issue, and expectedly achieves the goal of effective teaching. This thesis consists of three parts: preface, content and conclusion. The first chapter is preface, including mainly the study motives, purpose and introduction. The content includes five chapters. The second chapter introduces the classification and use of the relatives. The third chapter is interpretation of relative clause structure. The fourth chapter compared the use of relative que, el que and quien. The fifth chapter is exploring the study theories, Contrastive Analysis and Error Analysis. The sixth chapter is including the introduction of the content and object of the questionnaire survey. Based on the develop education of the Providence University junior students, the study presumes, analyzes and explains different types of errors; concludes using result of practice through questionnaire survey. Finally, the seventh chapter is the conclusion. It reveals that the questionnaire survey results. The teaching suggestions state for the error correction and the point of view rarely used the relatives en Chinese. This thesis optimistically contributes not only helping teachers and students in teaching and learning the relative clause but also the researchers of Error Analysis in the future.
