碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 管理碩士在職專班 === 100 === Taiwan's small and medium sized enterprises are being threatened by severe manufacturing environment and loss of competitive advantages, thus, it's mandatory that industry transformation and products innovation are needed to enhance the competitive strength. In 1996, Small and Medium Enterprise Administration, MOEA sets up incubation centers at universities by combining governmental agencies with universities so as to support the development of industry and improve the connection between enterprises and academic institutions by proposing industry-university cooperation to build a cooperative model to achieve three ways benefits between industry, government and academic institutions. This study is intended to explore the influence of the participation of small and medium enterprises in industry-university cooperation model on the development of corporate and production innovations and to induce the competitive advantages to obtain innovative values by leveraging of the industry with incubation centers of universities and governmental resources. This study adopts the qualitative research method combining case questionnaire with case interview and adopting 5 small and medium sized enterprises as the objects, through the platform of incubation centers of universities, this study explores the corporate innovation and production innovation of industry-university cooperation through coordination and analysis in the multiple-case study method, the following conclusions are drawn: 1. Various function of Incubation centers of universities may provide supporting functions to small and medium enterprises, including space and equipments, staffs, R&D, instruction, detection and assistance in financing, reduce enterprising risks and R&D costs, accelerate the commercialization of research results and improve success rate of the market, therefore, participation in industry-university cooperation may extend resources scope for enterprises. 2. The learning spirit of small and medium enterprises for innovation and management culture and the industry-university cooperation that reinforces the innovative development of enterprises have positive impact on enterprises. 3. Product innovation is the key to the craft production capacity of enterprises, and introducing of new value and differentiation and industry-university cooperation may enhance the market competitiveness of innovative values of products.
