Description
Summary:碩士 === 僑光科技大學 === 資訊科技研究所 === 99 === As we know that Cloud Computing is a category of distributed computing, the applications are more complicated to develop and maintain since there might be some issues related to network and security. If the network is “healthy” enough which means the cloud applications and services are fully accessible with acceptable response time when your business needs them, then the next objective you need to concern is that if the security is “strong” enough and the precious data collected through years can be protected well until the end of the world. Luckily, we are in the era of cloud and some IaaS and PaaS providers already owned or will own their military class cutting edge equipment just like “Sky Net” in the movie and share them with their customers so undoubtedly their precious data can be stored safely and accessed under monitorable, controllable and manageable condition. In contrast, the router/gateway at your business side would be under the situation of unpredictable issues like power outage, physical cable broken or circuit shortage even though your office computers might be under the risk of being infected by virus or having hardware failure. Briefly speaking, the data stored in the cloud can be extremely safe whereas it stored at your local computer can be risky when hardware failure occurred. Since the IaaS layer of cloud computing is getting mature these years, more and more organizations and business tend to start implementing virtualized operating environment in order to ease and simplify the management of IT systems. After that, they will start choosing PaaS layer solution and then developing customized SaaS layer applications. The implementation of this research is focused on the layer management of IaaS layer of cloud computing and coming out with a result of effectiveness of using cloud resources and managing their lifecycle.
