The Effect of Leisure Motivation and Leisure Involvement on Leisure Benefits of Elementary School Students Participating in Recreational Sports

碩士 === 國立虎尾科技大學 === 休閒遊憩研究所 === 99 === The purpose of this study were to survey the positive effects of elementary school students participating in Recreational Sports, therefore we compared the demographical differences among students'' Leisure Motivation （LM）, Leisure Involvement （LI）and Leisure Benefits （LB）; In addition, we have to explore the relationships between elementary school students'' LM and LI, and the impact from LM and LI to LB. The elementary school student in Yunlin County for the sample object, 800 questionnaires were sent out, 771 valid questionnaires were collected and the effectiveness was 96.4%. The scales of LM, LI and LB were developed by the researcher with good validity and reliability. The results showed: 1. There were significant differences in LM, LI and LB among the variables of sex, year, the time of sport participating each week, the period of sport participating each time, companions and school sport team. 2. There were positive correlation between LM and LI of elementary school students. 3. The LM of elementary school students could predict LB; the "Sociability" explanation strength was the highest. 4. The LI of elementary school students could predict LB; the "Self-expression" explanation strength was the highest. The results showed that Leisure Motivation and Leisure Involvement could be used to predict the Leisure Benefits of elementary school students participating in Recreational Sports effectively .Therefore we suggest elementary school students to actively participate in Recreational Sports, encourage them to cultivate the enthusiasm of Recreational Sports and to involve continuing.
