There are two main parts in this paper:The first part is to develop an auxiliary power hand tool. The host controller adopts Sonix SN8P1829 MCU. The first step of the tool operation is that the tool is driven to tighten a screw by an electric motor power. The motor spindle speed is controlled with a trigger pressed level. At the same time, the tightening torque is estimated by the armature current of motor. Once the tightening torque reaches 66% of preset torque, the tool operation is changed to the manual force mode to driver to the preset torque. The torque data are transmitted to the host computer by RF. The second part is to develop a RFWLAN using the RT2500T module. Through the wireless network, the torque data are collected for the power tools in a factory. In the organization of the RFWLAN, a star topology is easier to maintain so that is adopted for the data linking from the hand tool to the route; and a linear topology is adopted among the routes; and at the final the data are linked to the host computer. One tool can free join or exit the RFWLAN and it can move and work in the valid area of the RFWLAN. To avoid the collision for the RFWLAN, a separation of the communication time slots is adopted based on IEEE 802 Superframe approach and each hand tool will share itself time slice to transmit data to PC by RF. Two data collection processes are proposed and implemented. In final, the collected data including such as online status, location, operation count, tightening torque and operating time etc are shown on HMI developed by Visual Basic on PC. By the practical testing, the developed hand tool is not only effort-saving but also fast and the developed RFWLAN is very convenient and efficient for data collection. 廖文煇 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 67 zh-TW
