This not only raises the work efficiency but also reduces the side effect of occupational disease such as fatigue of eyes. It will also reduce the danger at work site, and prevent dramatic occupational hazard to occur, at the same time, it will also promote worker safety management. There are almost 80% of the information and message that human receives are from lights and by eyesight, both during daytime and night time. Comfortable lighting environment is important to everyone, for workers who work lasting 8 to 12 hours under improper environment, it can be detrimental to both physical and mental health. Therefore, improving worksite lighting equipment combined with well lighting design necessary for worker to have more comfortable work environment. Our study showed that the lighting quality rate for work environment of automobile repair shop sampled here is 61.53%, and none of the nearby worksite has met the criteria. Furthermore, the work-surface to neighborhood ratio for proper lighting criteria is also 61.53%. Improving the neighborhood lighting by providing supplementary luminate will resolute this problem.
