These specific characteristics can be employed in optical tweezers, high-density optical storage, or high-resolution microscopy etc. Radially and azimuthally polarized beams were the most two popular and valuable modes in the axially symmetric polarization field. In this thesis, two configurations, one modified Sagnac interferometer and one reshaped Michelson interferometer, for generating axially symmetric polarized beams were proposed. We demonstrated the mode and polarization conversions from a linear polarized TEM01 mode to the axially symmetric polarized donut mode while the beam was passed through the interferometer, and analyzed the quality and stability of converted beams by use of those two interferometers. In the future, the modified interferometers will be composed solid state and compact elements to stable generate axially symmetric polarized beams. Chien-Yuan Han 韓建遠 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 182 zh-TW
