It is estimated that Taiwan will become an aging society in 2017. Most people in Taiwan retire at age of 65; most of them will live at least 15 to 20 years after retired. Therefore, people should have the knowledge about saving, life insurance, and retirement planning, and start to plan their pension plans earlier in order to enjoy their retirement life. Everyone should plan their own retirement plans before they retire. Due to the demographic variables, everyone will have different ideas on logical thinking and implementation. This paper is trying to find the influence of demographic variables on saving, life insurance, retirement planning and pension insurance. According to our findings, people can use it as a reference when making decisions on financial and retirement planning. After collecting and analyzing 187 valid questionnaires, we conclude the following findings: 1. Age significantly influences the knowledge of saving, life insurance, retirement plan, and pension insurance. 2. Marriage status significantly influences on retirement planning. 3. Occupation significantly influences on life insurance cognition. 4. Number of dependents significantly influences on insurance cognition. 5. Personal monthly income significantly influences on retirement planning cognition and pension insurance cognition. 6. Household monthly income significantly influences on saving cognition, insurance cognition and pension insurance cognition. 7. Personal assets significantly influences on saving cognition, insurance cognition and pension cognition. Ming-Jang WENG 翁銘章 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 119 zh-TW |
