However, people are strongly relying on the analogue language of the objects. Such kind of cultural heritage on products can never be replaced by the hi-techs facts. This literature aims at developing a new kind of product language, informing users to interact with the object intuitively, based on the sensory information. The first half of the literature would discuss the elements of synthetic sensory on product designs, collecting design pieces with related issues. Theories such as semiotics, product semantics and synesthesia are regarded as the keys to integrate user experiences. The literature would also include rhetoric adjectives on sensory phenomena as the vehicle to find out the clues of cross-sensory designs. The second half of the literature would take contemporary design works as examples to demonstrate how different sensations work together, creating remarkable sensory experiences. The literature will wrap up with five design concepts, based on the refined conclusions. The projects emphasize the integration of the interactive experience as the facts on design features. The concepts are: (1) Memory Weights, telling the digital capacity by its weight. (2) EMF Chimes, using the figure of wind chimes to reveal the existence of electromagnetic radiation fields. (3) String Lamp, transferring the dimming experience from the curtain to the bulb. (4) Secret Keeper, transforming the sound wave into a tangible existence, using a cranking reel to store and release sound. (5) Sound Valve, changing the volume by pulling the ball valve on the sound pipe. Jin-Dean Cheng 鄭金典 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 119 zh-TW
