However, the insulation of the glass is worse than the concrete structure, when the sunlight illuminate directly on the glass, it will cause the indoor temperature increasing. In order to maintain the indoor temperature in a comfort zone, we have to use the air-conditioner frequently, and that consumes a large proportion of energy.
Building integrated photovoltaic material is called BIPV, combined with traditional solar modules, and be used to replace the general construction of the glass. Generally speaking, glass cannot effectively insulate the heat from the sunlight and the generate heat caused by generating power. When the heat penetrates into the house, it will make the indoor temperature raise, and will consume more energy of the air-conditioner. Therefore, three sets of analysis software used in this study are thermal flow analysis software (CFDesign) - analysis of the indoor temperature, power generation analysis software (Solar Pro) - analysis of generation capacity during the year, and energy analysis software (E-Quest) - analysis of the whole year heating and cooling energy consumption. We use four different types of glass in buildings for simulation, such as general glass, general modules, the heat insulation solar glass I and II. Looking forward to obtaining the result from the computer software simulation analysis, and it can reduce the cost caused by the design faults.
