Nonetheless, due to the unclear origin of the formula, so this study infers the formula of the strength and further attempts to understand the assumptions and bases. In doing so, the irrationalities in the formula are shown. As a result, a more appropriate and better-fit calculation process has derived from this study, and it’s also been compared with the finite element analysis software SAP2000. Most of the household facility in the past configuration tended to be concrete hidden wells, but in order to promote the construction progress, to improve the construction quality and to enhance construction safety, instead of concrete wells, plastic hidden wells are being used at present in some alleys. Owing to the fact that plastic hidden wells are relatively new facilities and their performance is less known, so this study will investigate their suitability and safety with experimental conductions and software analyses. The pipes used in plastic hidden wells are usually made of plastic, mostly unplasticized PVC pipes; thus, their suitability and safety will also be probed with software.
