Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 機械工程系 === 99 === This study primarily focuses on the development of a mold management system within the Pro/Engineer software environment. This system contains two main modules, namely “mold design” and “mold database”. The main research topics are described below:
1. Mold design: Users can configure and use existing molds in the mold database and make modifications. When finished with mold design, users can save the mold into the database and create a new mold style. In terms of the component database, users can use the standard components provided by the system, and, in addition, users can use the custom-defined component function to customize and build components (e.g. bolts, demodulating structures), and later save them into the component database. When the users edit the mold, they can configure and use the standard/non-standard components in the database to perform assembly.
2. Mold database: The system uses an interface with list boxes and figures to perform categorization and viewing of the molds.
Based on the research topics mentioned above, this study proposes research methods. In addition, we have used Pro/Toolkit as the software tool to develop the program and for mold development in practice.
