However, RM is a complicated knowledge that problem is how to identify, assess, and response the risks effectively. The research proposes a process-oriented ontology to solve those issues. This study develops a “Process-Oriented Ontology”, composed by EPC (Event-driven process chain), ontology and description logic (DL) to define and express process knowledge. Furthermore, the domain Ontology implements by Protege. For achieving the main purpose of RM, we apply Semantic Web Rule Language (SWRL) to build rule-based reasoning to rectify the shortcoming of ontology in describing rules. In order to achieve knowledge sharing and reusing on domain Ontology, it derives from the process knowledge with SWRL. In addition, every project has different risk weights of the assessment by its exclusive character. Therefore, we design a user interface on risk management system for reading the domain ontology and rule base that provides the optimal numerical calculation and the required process knowledge of risk management.
