Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 工業管理系 === 99 === This research designs an e-learning system with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, called the e-learning Kiosk, to implement supervised learning environment. Students arrive at the e-learning center according to their own free time to operate e-learning Kiosks and perform learning procedure. The Kiosk system provides learning materials and learning aids for students, evaluates students’ learning attitudes, and uses RFID tags to store students’ learning records.
The e-learning center with the e-learning Kiosks can simulate supervised learning environment to improve student laziness, provide the same learning efficiency as traditional classroom learning, and function as online e-learning system.
The components of the e-learning Kiosk include a PC system with database, a monitor, a RFID reader, and multimedia lectures. We designed a simple graphical user interface to implement user-friendly application. We use questionnaire to collect research data from students both before and after using the Kiosk system.
From experiment results, as we compared e-learning Kiosk with traditional classroom learning, there were no significant differences between these two learning models by reliability, validity and T-test analysis.
