Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 工業管理系 === 99 === Nowadays, the rapid development of high-tech industry in the whole world, competition among this industry is more and more acute. The enterprises which want to maintain its competitive advantage must keep innovation and growth to bring new opportunities for corporations. Because the product innovation, enterprises must increase investment in devices in order for the introduction of new products. Therefore, enterprises can increase revenue. This paper assumes that there is no transmission about the brand. We concerned about that after consumers purchased the equipment, and new products are introduced at the moment for a technology innovation. Perhaps replacement due to obsolescence is usually possible in rapidly changing technology, although the equipment can be used, the current asset may have a number of deficiencies including declining production efficiency, excessive maintenance. Under the listed issues above, we analyzed the consumer’s cost model, the optimal device replacement and the optimal number of preventive maintenance of 1st–generation device and 2nd–generation device. The adopted methodology is first acquiring numerical evidence to prove the quality of the decision-making process. Furthermore, conduct a numerical analysis which indicates that the various parameters relevant to the superlative decision and cost analysis. With a hint of optimistic outlook, we suggest that this may create a referencing guide-line for consumer’s decision making process.
