This thesis emphasize on discussing the New generation of Taiwan female Artist Ho Meng Jyan’s Makeup Culture. With the inseparable relationship between the current arts environment. The object of study is Artist Ho Meng Jyan, the viewpoint of feminist, biography, Cultural Sociology to discuss artists and works of relationships. It includes social phenomenon and the Makeup Culture of today's Taiwan, the interaction of them, female body conversion and discuss that how Ho Meng Jyan use makeup as the purpose of art? How female artists play the negative character? How female artists carry out the construction of self-identity and clarify by makeup? Lacan’s Theory of the Mirror explains that infants mirror of narcissism is the way to craft the self and can we set the camera lens as a mirror of adult? Adults take this to re-construct, fill the recognition of uncompleted self-image. Female artists take male society as a mirror mode shaping self-identity to convert the image the idea of mimicry Puppetry, explore the balance between the subject and the various roles. This thesis takes the works during the Ho Meng Jyan’s Institute time to discuss formation of Snow White, it mentality of experiment and the running-in process, using Alfred Adler’s Individual Psychology as the basis. Then analyzes the works when Ho Meng Jyan went into the community, determine that take the Snow White’s personality as the process representing itself in the beginning period, then face the social pressures, pulling Status of self-soul.
