While the world begins to engage with the Cultural Creative Industry and Aesthetic Economy, all walks of life indulges themselves into the strong development of experience economy, hoping through the changes of Cultural Creative Industry and consumer lifestyle can assist the merchandise to possess a clever alteration, moreover, to have more intimate connection with the popular culture and our daily lives, creating a new life for the industry and commodities. MuFun is a design studio which was founded by author Faris Fu and Kevin Shen in 2009. The goal of the establishment was to design and develop wooden figures, toys, and domestic products that included characteristics of the Taiwanese Culture. This research takes the six wooden figure samples, which were developed by MuFun from 2007 to 2010, through these case studies analyzing how the model of the cultural product design shifts, employing the Taiwanese cultural elements into the design of the wooden figures, then by literature review inducting three categories of design evaluation dimension, based on the attribute meaning of each category to prepare the questionnaire, through the statistical analysis of questionnaires we were given the understanding that consumers have a very high degree of recognition towards the employment of the Taiwanese Culture to the wooden figures. Additionally, looking through the six product samples in the design evaluation, we find that the “sense of design” and “original design” was highly stressed, followed by “function”; in general, the results show that “form of beauty” and “cultural features” are indispensable design elements. Above are the design evaluations which provide a reference for those who wish to develop cultural figures in the future.
