The system is based on depth image based rendering (DIBR), given monoscopic 2D-plus-depth reference images, to generate multi-view virtual views/images. Compared to other varieties of DIBR methods, the shape of objects in the image has less distortion, and visual quality is better by utilizing depth map for inpainting. Its real-time implementation makes it best suitable for routine reviews in multi-view or stereoscopic devices. The system is implemented to provide intuitive but powerful GUI in artists'' way and it has been applied in real stereoscopic animation projects. There are similar commercial products and we also provide comparisons among them through user study. Ming Ouhyoung 歐陽明 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 35 zh-TW
