Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 機械工程學研究所 === 99 === Radiography, tomography and histology are mostly used to evaluate bone ingrowth and the cage migration in the intervertebral fusion. However, it is not accurate to measure the cage location and relative migration by radiographs. In this study, a mechanical migration gauging system of interbody cage is proposed to solve the accuracy problem. Specimens are nondestrctively subjected to flexion, extension, lateral bending and axial compression load and the cage location after cyclic loading are measured by this system. The gauging system includes three parts: the coordinate axis, the gauging devices and labview. The former is composed of spinal needle, micrometer head and precision actuator-loaded linear stage. At present, the experimental result reveals that the statistics measured by the system (the error is approximately 0.169 mm) are almost consistent with the actual situation.
