Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 企業管理碩士專班 === 99 === Global trend of rising energy prices drives governments to increase energy security by reduction of dependency on foreign recourses and shifting towards renewable energy resources (RES) and technology. Among renewable resources excluding hydropower, solar photovoltaic (PV) technology deserves focus as the fastest growing renewable energy technology worldwide in recent years with compound annual growth rate 35.1%. Interesting fact it that leaders on global market in total installed solar PV capacity are countries where solar radiation is not highest worldwide. Among top ten, six are European countries like Germany, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, France and Belgium, along with United States and Japan. Is it then possible for Poland to follow its neighboring countries? An analysis of polish renewable energy market trends including government policies and local Krakow County topographic, meteorological and financial mechanisms of energy support creates background for determining solar technology potential which supported by new government vision mechanisms is feasible for local environment and county infrastructure strategies.
