Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 進修部暑期特教碩士班 === 99 === The purposes of this study were based on functional assessment to evalute the Positive Behavior Support Program performance for the case study of a moderate autistic student with aggressive behavior.
This study was adopted by single-subject experimental design with the multiple baseline design across behaviors. The independent variables of positive behavior support program study were including antecedent control strategy, ecological environment improving strategy, teaching alternative skill strategy, and consequence intervention strategy. The dependent variables were the occurrence frequency of behavioral problems and positive behaviors. Data processing is divided into four parts: the first part is quantitative data processing, the second part dealing with qualitative data, the third part is related to observer reliability test, and the last part is mentioned the social validity.
The conclusions were indicated as follows:
1. The result of behavioral problem reduction from the positive behavior support program to an autistic student is significant.
2. The result of positive behavior enhancement from the positive behavior support program to an autistic student is significant.
3. The positive behavior support program has fine social validity.
