Abstract
This study aimed to explore the repairman around the Taiwan Railway Administration in Hualien Depot of their job stress, job stress sources and the coping strategy. This study had sampling 8 repairmen from Taiwan Railway Administration in Hualien Depot as objects and used the in-depth interview of qualitative research method. According to literacy review, in-depth interview and analyzed the collected data there were founds the follows:
1.Repairman job stress in current status: The impacted the perceptions as the vehicles waited for repaired were too old, the materials purchased were difficult, lack of materials supply, materials supplies shortage and poor of material’s quality.
2.The job stress source: that included the noise, dust, plant ventilation, repair tools is too old, without certification safety equipments, repairman's age, service duration, educational level, marital status, job's level, physical health situation, management and leadership style those were be the job stress.
3.Coping strategies of the job stress: when the repairmen experience job stress most of they were took the positive coping strategies as "looking for support", "facing the problem" and "rational to think". The interviewers considered when their stress could not escaped they were identify problems first and then looking for other solutions possible and face the problems bravely and finally fight with the job stress for solved the problems.
