The education was mainly on the curriculum content of exploring seven body components: chest, spine, shoulders, pelvis, knees, ankles and wrists and discussing the effect of this curriculum to the cognition of their bodies and skills of Taekwondo movements for young learners. An action research method was applied in the study. The objects were twenty young learners from seven to twelve years old, including 15 male learners and 5 female. Their average age was ten years old. The term of this study last 11 weeks, twice training periods a week, 60 minutes for each period. The total was 21 periods. The pre-test and post-test of Takwendo movements were conducted, and the data of students’ feedbacks after each period, the researcher’s notes and oberservation notes were collected. After the data processing and deciphering, the analysis results were as follows: 1)The integration of body mapping into Takwendo instruction could improve the learners’ cognition of the body structure. 2)The integration of body mapping into Takwendo instruction could improve the learning of Takwendo movement skills like basic kicking and defensing. 3)The learners’ motivation was positive about the integration of body mapping into Takwendo instruction. 90 percent of students’ learning and reaction were well-improved and agreed that it was easy to learn and acceptable. 4)Through this study procedure, the researcher could enhance his own teaching experience and profession about the integration of body mapping into Takwendo instruction, including the curriculum design and practice, teaching strategies, oral instruction, and the usage of the teaching aids. Conclusion of this study: The integration of body mapping into Takwendo instruction did have the positive effect on the cognition of the learners’ bodies, skill of Takwendo and affective learning.
