Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 體育教學碩士在職專班 === 99 === Purpose: This study aimed to (1)compare the differences among contest mode, technical mode and the effect of applying different types of stoke taken by the object of this study, Zhang Ning, under winning and losing conditions, and to (2)compare the differences between Zhang Ning and her opponents in technical modes taken and the effect of stroke in winning and losing sets, in order to (3)establish a forecast formula for Zhang's winning rate in competitions. Object: Zhang Ning, age 33, right-hander, height 175cm, body weight 64 kgs, twice Olympic Gold Medalist in Women's Singles (2004 & 2008). Method Computer notational analysis, with the data collected from Zhang Ning's gaming video clips (a total of 20 sets in 10 matches) from 2006 to 2008 for international games under new gaming system. The collected data underwent statistical analysis, including independent t-test, test of homogeneity proportions, two-way ANOVA and stepwise multiple regression. Results (1) round-trip duration per stroke showed the main difference in contest mode upon winning and losing. (2) techniques used after the third stroke and position of stroke showed the main difference in technical mode upon winning and losing. (3) No
reciprocals showed in the effect of different types of stroke upon winning and losing. (4) the main differences between Zhang Ning's and opponents' technical mode included types of serve, techniques used after the third stroke (incl.), techniques used in 3-4 stroke interval and those used in 5-12 stroke interval, and landing areas of serve. (5) the main difference between Zhang Ning's and opponents' effective strokes upon winning and losing showed in the effect of smashes and lift shots. (6) the 5th, 12th and 9th were key strokes to Zhang Ning's game result. Her winning rate = .533×effect-of-12th-stoke+.577×effect-of-5th-stoke+.362×effect-of-9th-stoke. The key techniques to Zhang Ning's game result included the effect of lift shot, clear high shot, intercept and net shot. Conclusions: the core of Zhang Ning's techniques and tactics stressed both attack and defense. Consuming opponents' strength by alternate with lift shots, high clear shots and net shots, plus successful intercepts of opponents' attacks, she effectively executed this push-pull tactic to claim her final victory.
Suggestions: (1)the outcome showed better result in Zhang Ning's smashes and push shots over the other types of her technique. It might be required to further analyze the timing of her application of these two techniques. (2)Further input to the study of other outstanding players would benefit domestic players and coaches and bring in advantageous improvements.
