In this paper, we discuss the method of decoding the one-dimensional barcodes.We propose a method of locating barcodes in images with complex background. The method of segmenting the barcode from a row is proposed. It is necessary for segmenting a barcode to use the characteristics of barcodes. The target symbology is Code39 and EAN13. EAN13 is characterized by fixed length of 95 minimal bars. The length of Code39 is variable and depends on the encoded digits.
