In Taiwan, One of the characteristics of religious is used incense burners.People use of incense burners to communicate with the gods and ancestry . The concept of incense derives from use of incense burners , and the meaning is symbolic of the “heirs for many generations” and “generation and generation”.
There are five chapters in thesis. The first chapter is prolegomenon, comprised of research motive, research purpose, literature Review and chapter construction. The second chapter is incense history. The second chapter is Han Chinese Use of incense burners in folk beliefs,and The fourth chapter is Han Chinese’s concept of incense.The fifth chapter is the conclusion and suggestion.
