Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 99 === This paper presents low EMI and high efficiency DC to DC stepdown (Buck) switching regulator/converter. The regulator can be switched to pulse-width modulation mode as the load current is high. Conversion efficiency of this work can reach for 90-95% when load current from 3 to 400 mA. Soft start circuit operation is designed to eliminate the excess large current at the start up of the regulator. And Spread spectrum techniques are adopted in Sawtooth Oscillator that make the frequency of PWM signal influctuating slightly, and separate the energy in the fundamental frequency averagely for EMI reduction. The circuit is designed with tsmc 0.35μm 2P4M 3.3V/5V mixed-signal CMOS process. The best total power efficiency of this integrated circuit achieves 95%, and the chip area is 2.39186×2.39024 mm2.
