Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北大學 === 企業管理學系 === 99 === Recently, a lot of enterprises need to set the strategies for responding to the environment quickly. They integrate business internal resource with Information System. Industries, so-called “Commercial Software Industry,” have appeared to help them integrate their business internal resource. This kind of companies organizes teams to match all the demands of their clients. They have the characteristics of project team, with bounded time, specific goals, and limited resources. Furthermore, they are responsible for developing the management information system, and have been called” Software Development Project Team”. The software development project team members are mostly permanent and very low volatility. So, the early stages of a team need to be carefully selected team members. In previous researches, team types were categorized and studied by using some standards. However, Team characteristic as its diversity has many dimensions, but the previous researches did not study about that much. Thus, we focus on many-sided effects. In the research, we propose a set of new standards to develop the team characteristics. These standards can develop new team characteristics by using the categorized team types that would affect team effectiveness. Therefore, this study define characteristics of software development project team, and discuss the features of this software development project team performance, and task independence of the relations between both.The results are able to help used for project managers of software project team to understand how to select appropriate members, team operation, and improve team effectiveness.
