Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 課程與教學研究所 === 99 === This research is a case study to better understand the esthetic experience of the students in physical education . All the data were collected from inside and outside classroom observations, interviews and document analysis. Triangulation was also employed to check them. The research finds it’s more easily for the students to ignore the tediousness from the practice in PE class when the teachers can guide them through games and imagination. Instead, they are moved by the physical and mental beauty and enjoy the class.
According to the research, students can have the following two kinds of aesthetic experiences:
1. They can find the physical beauty in PE activities.
2. They can express themselves and have fun in PE activities.
Based on the above findings, this study proposes as follows:
I. to teachers
1. More imagination activities and games can be put into the teaching; more guidance and appreciation can be stressed so that the classes can be surprisingly exciting.
2. Teachers can make students do more kinds of PE activities, encourage them to find and explore. Therefore, the appreciation of PE can be bridged into the actual participation.
3. Instead of being score-oriented, teachers can review their teaching ideas from time to time and transform their individual experiences to share with students.
II to future researches:
1. It requires exploring the aesthetic part in every kind of exercises in order to set different aesthetic quality.
