Advises will be drawn from the research results. The study hopes to provide suggestions and references to administrations of education, schools and further researches. The subjects in the study are school teachers in 41 elementary schools in Taipei, and a copy of self-made questionnaire “Taipei Elementary Schools Teachers’ Conceptions on the Quality of Schools’ Administrative Service and Teachers’ Devotion to Work” is used to conduct the investigation. A total of 688 copies of questionnaires are issued, and 603 copies are collected. The data is processed and analyzed through t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and multiple stepwise regressions by making use of SPSS version 12.0 software. The research results are summarized as follows: 1.Teachers in Taipei’s elementary schools have positive views about the quality of schools’ administrative services. 2.Senior teachers have a better understanding of schools’ administrative services. 3.Teachers who serve concurrently as chiefs or directors in schools speak highly of schools’ administrative services. 4.Teachers in small schools tend to have a much positive view in schools’ administrative services than that of larger schools. 5.Elementary school teachers in Taipei are dedicative to their work. 6.Senior teachers are much devoted to work (than junior ones). 7.Teachers who serve concurrently as chiefs or directors are highly dedicated to work. 8.The relationship between teachers’ conceptions on the quality of schools’ administrative services and their devotion to work is sensibly relevant. 9.Teachers’ conceptions on the quality of schools’ administrative services can be used to predict how much they will devote to work.
