The study is carried out on the basis of the research method of questionnaire survey, with 219 certified elementary school teachers as its subjects selected by way of stratified random sampling. There are suggestions made in the wake of the conclusion of this study and it is hoped these suggestions can serve as valid reference for further study by education-related administration organizations, schools and teachers. All the data collected for this study are analyzed by using the statistical methods of descriptive statistics, independent samples mean t-test, and one-way ANOVA. After a thorough study and analysis of all the questionairess, the following findings are achieved: 1. Teachers working in a elementary school setting in Peng-hu county have a high level of perception of innovative management of school; they are particular perceptive of innovative management conducted in administrative management. 2. Differences are shown in teachers’ perception of school innovation management and such differences are found corresponding to their different ages, academic degrees, and levels of seniority. However, almost no difference is seen in the perception in school innovation management because of the gender of the teacher gender and task he/she performs at school. (1)No obvious variation is found in teachers of both genders as to their perception of school innovation management. (2)A higher level of perception of school innovation management is found in teachers older in age. (3)Teachers with a higher academic degree show a higher perception of school innovation management. (4)Teachers with longer years in the teaching profession are more perceptive of school innovation management. (5)Teachers serving different functions at school exhibit no variation in their perception of school innovation management. 3. Variations of perception of school innovation management are represented by teachers whose schools are varied in size and location. (1)Teachers who work in a larger-size school setting are more perceptive of school innovation management. (2)Teachers who teach at urban school are seen to show a higher level of perception of school innovation management. 4. When it comes to the difficulties encountered in implementing school innovation management, the unanimously perceived one mentioned by the surveyed subjects is “insufficient financial support.” Keywords: elementary school, innovation, school innovation management Chung Chi-Ming 莊淇銘 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 144 zh-TW |
